Last Friday, we were hired by Gabriella & Rod to be their DJs & Emcee for their wedding at the historic Hotel La Valencia in La Jolla.



Also known in La Jolla as "The Pink Lady" La Valencia opened in 1926 during the beginning of a golden era in Hollywood.
To Hollywood, La Jolla was an undiscovered, unspoiled “jewel,” and its beaches and cliffs were often used for location shots
Hollywood’s stars, the nation’s Gods and Goddesses of the day, used (and still do) La Valencia as a hideout from hectic Hollywood pressures.

Gabriella and Rod's ceremony was held in the garden facing the Pacific Ocean. The whales came also to say hi, that was just beautiful.



It was such a beautiful set-up for these two High School sweethearts.



The Reception was inside  The Verandah Ball Room & Terrace. Potted palms, a dramatic black & white marble foyer and crystal chandeliers create a breezy yet elegant ballroom.




Gabriella and Rod on their MUST PLAY request list had a lot of very energetic songs.

The dancefloor was packed all night with their family and guests, who had an incredible vitality!














It was fantastic night orchestrated by the fabulous Petr Trebin from the Abbey Catering & Events Design.
