For this special occasion, they selected the Wedding Bowl for the Ceremony and the Cuvier Club for their reception.
Surrounded by their families, friends and 6 kids, this awesome couple renewed their vows on the ocean, the wedding bowl is the perfect set-up for a romantic event!
The father of the groom was the officiant.
Then, everybody joined the reception at the Cuvier Club.
Charles and Aileen are big fan of the movie "Back to the Future".
They incorporated in their music selection a lot of the songs from the movie, Aileen asked us if we were willing to dress-up as well.
Immediately we said YES, and we showed up dressed as Marty McFly and Jennifer.
Usually we are pretty classic in our choice of clothing for weddings, but as per request from the bride herself, we were super excited to dress-up!
We printed our Timeline on the "Save the Clocktower" flyer! When the bride and groom passed us at the end of the Ceremony, and saw our flyers, they were in shock!
For their first dance, they choose one of the most beautiful French Song ever written: "La Vie en Rose", I had chills when I heard the voice of Edith Piaf, as it brings back so many memories of my life before California!
As a surprise fo a husband, their 6 children and guests, Aileen danced to an Hawaiian song, and demonstrate her skills and abilities to truly express her love and gratitude for her family.
Hula dancing is a complex art form, and there are many hand motions used to represent the words in a song or chant. For example, hand movements can signify aspects of nature, such as the swaying of a tree in the breeze or a wave in the ocean, or a feeling or emotion, such as fondness or yearning.
Then the guests hit the dance floor, some even before the dinner.

Aileen had a great idea for their guests, she brought massive Glow Sticks, that was a fantastic idea and really beautiful, we though we would recommend that for our future brides and grooms!
All this beautiful event was orchestrated by Lex Waynick, wedding planner at the Abbey Catering and Design Co
He did an amazing job!
We absolutely loved being part of this wedding renewal of vows!
