We had the great pleasure to be the entertainment for Tangie & Daniel's wedding last Sunday on The Williams D. Evans Sternwheeler at the Bahia Resort Hotel in Mission Bay.

We met Daniel & Tangie on this exact boat during the Bahia Resort Hotel Bridal Show in March.

To honor this beautiful and historical venue, they decided to have a Great Gatsby Theme Wedding.

This boat was  such a perfect setting to celebrate Daniel & Tangie's Love.

Everything about the Williams D. Evans takes you back to a time of elegant ladies, maverick card players and rip-roaring entertainment. And it's exactly the vision that Daniel & Tangie had for their special day.

All their guests arrived dressed like flappers from the 1920's: beautiful shiny dresses, head-bands, and the men were all wearing beautiful hats.

Definitely, Tangie and Daniel's guests respected the dress-code!

We played a lot of Jazz Music for the event: from the guests arrival to dinner, we incorporated some Charleston, Duke Ellington and his grand Orchestra, Jack Livingston Big Band, mixed with the Great Gatsby movie soundtrack.

The Bridal Party and our newlyweds made their Grand Entrance with the very energetic " Bang Bang" from will.i.am.

After an emotional ceremony that includes Tangie & Daniel's children, guests were invited to join cocktail hour.

We want to thank Miss Tarra Walker for being the day off coordinator, she did an awesome job orchestrating the event!

During the reception there was a special surprise for our love birds family members and close friends: we started to cruise along Mission bay for 2 hours. What A Treat!
It was an incredible experience for us to DJ and sail at the same time!

Talking about dancing: the dancefloor never emptied once, we have to give a shot to the bride who never left it! We had to stop at midnight but I'm pretty sure that Tangie could have danced till 6am!!!

At the end of the boat cruise, all the guests surrounded our newlyweds with their love and happiness. "This is how we do it!" by Montell Jordan was their last song and it was so meaningful! They offered to their guests an unforgettable and memorable event!

 What a Great Wedding!

We are ecstatic and grateful to have been part of it!

We are wishing Daniel & Tangie a life full of Love, Joy and Happiness!

It was such a great pleasure to be part of Zhi-Ning and David's Wedding last Saturday at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla.

What an exquisite venue! Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the natural beauty of La Jolla, this site was just perfect for these two special people.

For her processional, our stunning bride Zhi-Ning choose "Can't help falling in love" the Ingrid Michaelson version.
And for their recessional, "On Top of the World" by Imagine Dragons, was ideal as we really felt on top of the world on the edge of these cliffs.

The guests were invited to join cocktail hour, and the music was a mix of Jack Johnson, Beyonce Stevie Wonder, just some perfect tunes to set the tone for a joyous celebration.

For Dinner we played a mix of bossa nova and easy listening songs: Ceu, Amy Winehouse's version of "The Girl From Ipanema"& Gilberto Gil to name a few.
It was a very elegant choice as the sun slowly set.

For the reception, Zhi-Ning and David wanted their guests to have a great time. And they did! Various generes, from Motown, to "Turn Down for What" we were really thrilled to witness this awesome group having a blast on the dancefloor!

The wedding was orchestrated by the talented Brenda Swann from Swann Soirees. It's always such a pleasure to work with Brenda as her events go smooth, and she has such great eyes for details and elegance!

We had such a wonderful time being part of Zhi-Ning and David's wedding, we are wishing them all our best in this new journey together!

It's always a pleasure for us to be the entertainment for the students at All Hallows Academy in La Jolla.

Last Friday, they had their annual Fall Festival!

To help us to have the kids dancing, we had Monique a professional dancer, who kept the kids on the dancefloor!

A lot of fun activities were offered to the kids and their parents.

We want to thank the staff for All Hallows Academy for having us at their Family Fun night, Mrs Shannon A. to organize the event,  and of course Miss Abby the 4th grade teacher, our friend, who referred us to perform for the kids.

And of course the students who had so much fun all night long!

We had the great pleasure to be the entertainment for Kelly and Ebony's wedding at the Darlington House in La Jolla last Saturday.

The beautiful Bridal Party before the Ceremony, and the coolest Ring Bearer ever!

Kelly and Ebony love to dance, they wanted the music to be energetic all along the night.

Ebony and Kelly looked so happy after the Ceremony

After a beautiful ceremony held in the Rose Garden, their guests were invited to join Cocktail Hour in the Egyptian Patio.

For cocktail hour, we decided to set the tone with some tunes like the new Michael Jackson- Justin Timberlake " Love never felt so good", the infamous "All about that bass" from Meghan Trainor,
"F For You' from Disclosure & Mary J. Blidge, "Somebody Loves You" by Betty Who, "Love Foolosophy" by Jamiroqai.

Cocktail Hour in the Egyptian Patio

For the reception, the The Abbey Catering and Events Co. flipped the Rose garden to transform into a beautiful reception area.
The wedding was orchestrated by the talented and fabulous Petr Trebin.

Again for dinner, we decided to play some upbeat songs, and before dinner was served, the fathers of the brides started the dancefloor, followed by a lot of the guests.
Before dinner...

Then, for their grand entrance our two beautiful brides choose "Memories" by Guetta, followed by their first dance "All of Me" by John Legend.

For dinner we played Adele "Rolling In The Deep", "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys- Ebony' sisters and her dad started singing, we also played Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis "Same Love", we have to say that we support same sex marriage, it was a beautiful moment, Nikki, Kelly's Maid of Honor, opened the dancefloor with her wife, and some other guests followed them.

The cutest cake toppings

Then, our goal for the rest of the night was to have a packed dancefloor and to have Ebony, Kelly & their guests dancing all night long. Mission Accomplished!

It was such a Beautiful Celebration of Ebony & Kelly's Love.

We are so Proud & Happy that they choose us for their special day!

We are wishing Ebony and Kelly a long life of Joy and Happiness together.

We had the great pleasure to be the DJs this past Saturday for Cliff and Jackie's wedding at the Bali Hai.

The landmark restaurant, located on the northern tip of Shelter Island, is a chic, sleek Polynesian paradise opened in 1955 .
Bali Hai was the island’s first “tiki temple,” named after the song popularized by the musical “South Pacific,” and remains one of the largest remaining original tiki temples.

Their Grand Entrance was spectacular.
As all their guests were enjoying the beautiful view at sunset, Jackie, Cliff and their bridal party arrived on a yacht! Talking about "Glasz".......

Our bride and groom looked stunning and so happy!

Cliff and Jackie wanted a loungy vibe for cocktail hour and dinner, so we decided to play some upbeat music to entertain their guests, so we have a full dancefloor right after their first dance. For sure it was a hot night but that didn't discouraged anybody to dance all night long.

To close this beautiful celebration, Cliff and Jackie got send off in the same way they arrived, the yacht was waiting for them to take them to this new journey of a lifetime.

We truly enjoyed working for these two love birds and are wishing them a beautiful life together!

Congratz to Cliff and Jackie!

We had the great pleasure to be part of Corie and Michael's Wedding last Saturday at the New Children Museum in Downtown San Diego.

The New Children’s Museum was created by world renowned architect, Rob Wellington Quigley.

It's one of the first green museums in California and has received numerous architectural awards.

The choice of the venue was partly because Michael is an architect and really loved the concept.
The dynamic  and green space was perfect for children to enjoy, and also the adults!

The ceremony was held right across from the museum on the playground.

Corie & Michael love art, so they hired a mural artist to design their names with chalk.

Then, family and friends gathered on the outside patio for cocktail hour, the reception was held inside the New Children Museum.

Aaron, the brother of the bride, and a confirmed musician, played the processionals for the ceremony.
That was such a touching moment. Corie was stunning when she walked down the isle with her proud father.

Corie and Michael had 175 guests, and this venue was perfect to accommodate everybody, especially the kids who could enjoy all the fun activities.

For cocktail hour and dinner, we played a mix between old Motown like Otis Redding, to newer tunes like Alabama Shakes, Vance Joy or Ben Howard.

We had such an amazing time, Corie, Michael and their guests danced the night away!

The wedding was orchestrated by the Fantastic Petr Trebin from the Abbey Catering and Event Design.

Congratulations Corie and Michael!
Your Wedding was very special to us!
We are wishing you the best for this new journey together!
